Tips for Faster Charging

These tips will apply to almost any Apple device you own.

Put the Device to Sleep

Depending on the device, you can just put the device in the sleep mode.  It’s a button on the right side of the phone and on the top right of the iPad.  Once you set your phone to charge, just click the sleep button and let it rest while it charges.

Turn on Airplane Mode

Go to your Settings or your Control Center.  Find the Airplane and tap it to turn it on.  This will turn off all cellular and WiFi data being transmitted.  This will reduce the load on the battery and allow the device to charge faster.  Here’s a link to learning more about the Control Center on your phone and iPad.   Control Your iPhone and iPad

Turn the Device Off

The way to make sure your device is completely focused on charging, is to turn the device off.

You can try any or all of these tips to try and charge your device faster.  See what works best for you and happy charging!

    1. Hi Jim! I’m assuming this is Jim from KHN days! I’m glad you’re finding it useful. It’s exactly why I started my website so we no longer had to ask the kids. 😂. BTW, is like to know how you found my website. Just seeing where people are finding it. Thanks!
