Hope you had a chance to read the previous post about searching for a name or a word in a text message. If not, here is the link Where’s That Text Message?
Today’s post is about helping you find that one photo you’ve been looking for in your text messages.
Photos in Text Messages
This feature shows images per text message, not all the images from all text messages at one time.
Finding a photo in a text message is easy. Open a text message. Tap on the blue i in the top right corner of the text. (You see duplicate photos on my text message below as I was texting myself to use for this post. 😂)
Now you’ll see an option that shows only Images and Attachments below and the Images is highlighted in blue. Since the default is Images, all you have to do is scroll down to see all the photos in that text message. I said it would be easy and it was, right?
Lightly press on the photo and the options to Copy | Delete | More will appear in a black bubble at the top of the photo. You can copy the photo to drop in an email or a new note in the Notes app. You can also delete the photo from your messages here.
How to Save Multiple Photos
Tap on More and you get the option to save one or more photos to your Photos app. The blue circle with a check mark indicates that’s the photos you are saving. In the bottom left you can see “save two images”. You can also delete from here as well by tapping the trash can on the bottom right. See all you can do here?
What Do You Think?
If you have used this feature or are just learning about it now, leave a comment and let me know how you are using the options. Please share the tips and how to’s you read here on your social media or by email by clicking on the icons below.
Thanks for stopping by today!
