This is a screenshot from Apple’s website. I’ve been reading and listening to podcasts trying to get some more information about the newest watch. What’s New and Old The new watch series 4 has a new feature called Fall Detection. From the information available, a lot of testing went into this feature. It’s going to be very beneficial, especially for those who live in areas of snow and ice. Also for anyone who is prone to falling. This could be someone who is older or someone who may have other medical conditions that make them prone to falling. The series … Continue reading Apple Watch 4
Today’s post is about the new iPhones. One thing Apple does very well, is update their website! Here is a link to their site for you to read and watch the videos. Apple iPhones There is an option that you can do a side by side comparison of your current phone and a new iPhone. You can compare all the specs just by scrolling. Here is a link that compares the models. iPhone Comparisons I’ve heard a lot of hype about the MAX iPhone. Make sure if you choose to upgrade your phone, that you actually hold one in your … Continue reading New Apple iPhones

This is not new to iOS 12. It’s been there, but I just learned about it a couple weeks ago from a podcast I listen to about Apple devices. First things first, the information on your device is encrypted and can’t be read by Apple. It is stored only on your device. I’m sure there are many who won’t believe this to be true and there won’t be anything said here to try and convince you one way or the other. If your location services is turned off, you should not have any history. How to Find Where You’ve Been … Continue reading Where Have You Been?
With every new update there will be changes in how you find something or where it “lives” now. I just found this one last night and wanted to share it with you today. There’s a bonus in the photo below too. If you figure it out before reading the post, let me know in the comments. Come on Apple, it’s been a long time coming for this change! 👩🏻💻🤦🏻♀️📱 Update on Finding Photos in Messages In a previous post on how to easily find photos in messages, there has been a small change. But like traditional Apple updates, if something … Continue reading Messages and Photos Update
Updated iPhone and iPad Today Morning everyone! I’m back from training and updated this morning. I didn’t have any issues. What about you? Have you updated your devices? Any issues you have had or seen others have? Let me know! This will be quick as I need to get to work! As you can see in photo below, the first thing I noticed was the bolder “predictive” text. Predictive text is the text that shows when you start typing. It’s predicting what word you might want so you can tap on the word. Maybe Apple just made the background a … Continue reading iOS 12 Quick Update
First, THANK YOU to all of you who have followed my blog, interacted with me in your comments and questions, and for coming back again! I started this blog to challenge myself to build a website. I was thrilled when I set up my website and people, YOU, actually read it and liked the content. First time someone commented, “you’re post are so easy to read and the directions are so easy to follow”, I knew that I would continue this blog for a long time! 😊 That’s exactly why I started writing about Apple devices! Other milestones I’ve hit … Continue reading Milestones 100+ Followers!
Image Credit: Pixaby Software Updates READ the Links Below Before Updating Well it’s been a very busy week for me and Apple! 😂 I’m still reading and watching videos to give you the most accurate information. I’ll be in training classes next week, but plan to update at night. Just to be sure you know how serious I am about updating, I will NOT update until Thursday!!! It will be soooooo hard, I mean really hard, but I’ll be searching the internet during breaks and reaching out to tech groups I follow to see if they have heard of any … Continue reading Software Updates for Apple
UPDATED 9/15/18: The video link was not loading. Please see the directions and screen shots below. Thanks Apple! I have not used this app or even heard of it before. So this is not a recommendation, I happened to be an app that Apple is giving away free until 9/25/18. Wanted to share this with you because Apple must think it’s pretty good if they decided to give it away. I used the Apple Store app (you can download it from the App Store) to look at the pricing for the new Apple Watch and new iPhones for a post … Continue reading UPDATED: Free Camera App
Wow! I was only able to watch the Apple Watch 4 presentation and I fell in love with the watch all over again! The addition of Fall detection and ability to record an EKG was way more than I expected. Plus the watch function is FDA approved! That’s a huge accomplishment for Apple. This will be an amazing tool for patients to keep their physicians informed. I hate when you’ve been sick and your symptoms disappear the morning of your appointment! Below is a link that has lots of information shown during the event, as well as stories they … Continue reading Apple’s Event
Biggest news to me, it will have the ability to record and electrocardiogram, an ECG (EKG)! Plus it’s FDA approved–that’s huge! Continue reading Apple Watch 4
Lots of rumors going around and “leaks” of what’s coming from Apple tomorrow. My excitement is getting the best of me! 📱👩🏻💻⌚️🖥💻 However, I’ve learned not to believe it until I see it. If you would like to listen to the event, there are multiple ways. If you are on Twitter, search for Apple’s verified account and they will post a link there for you to click that you “like” the tweet and they’ll send you a link. Typically so many people are logging in, I usually have a couple alternatives. You can do a Google search, how to watch … Continue reading Tomorrow is the Day!

Have you wondered, how do I close those darn rings? The Stand ring has been one that’s hard for me to close since I have a full time desk job. But I still try to get up and stretch even if I can’t leave my desk to walk around a little. The name, Stand ring is a little misleading. It’s not just stand, it’s move around for 1 minute also. Help with What the Rings Mean Each ring is designed to really get you moving. Stand, Exercise, Move. They look really good when they are closed. Plus it’s motivating to see … Continue reading Close Your Rings!
