Do you use Apple’s “Clock” app on your phone as your alarm clock? Seems like the majority use the Alarm clock function most every day. More importantly, do you use the snooze function?
Snooze or Not to Snooze?
Snooze on Apple’s “Clock” app is set to go off every 9 minutes. I don’t use the snooze feature in the morning often. If I need a little more time before getting up, I just set another alarm based on the current time and where I have to be in that morning. Maybe it’s a control issue? 😂
The first photo shows you the different options. If you want to get up at 6:21am you can set the alarm for that time. You can actually set an alarm to go off only on specific days, like mine below is Weekdays. You can also create a Label name, like below and name it anything you want. You can choose the alarm tone you want to use here, as well as set the snooze feature on or off. I turned it on so you can see the green toggle button is on.
Click Repeat and you can choose the days you want the alarm to go off.
How to Create Your Own Snooze Function
If you don’t want to use the 9 minute snooze function, you can create your own system of “snooze” alarms. In the photo example below, you can create a new alarm every 5 minutes as many times as you want. Then set the repeat for the days you need.
What I don’t understand is why doesn’t this person just get up at 6:30am? 🤷🏻♀️😊
Use Siri to Set an Alarm
If you haven’t read my previous post on using Siri, you can click here 👉🏼 Siri Can Do What?
Ask Siri, or activate Siri by holding down the home button and ask her or him to set an alarm for 9am tomorrow. It’s a great feature to use any time. If you need to set the additional options like repeat, you’ll need to open the “Clock” app.
