As of today, it seems the internet has calmed down about the iOS 12.1 update.
I’ll be updating tomorrow while I’m at work so I’ll have a phone if needed. That’s right, I don’t have a home phone! Seems strange to me even 5 years later. I remember using a phone on the wall with a “party line”! Let me know if you remember this!
Are You Ready to Update?
The majority of iPhone users, back to an iPhone 5, will see benefits from updating. There are several fun things and new functions that will be available in this newest update. To read more about that, review Apple’s link here https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2018/10/ios-12-1-brings-group-facetime-and-new-emoji-to-iphone-and-ipad/
However, if you start experiencing problems like slow battery life, or apps not opening, etc. try turning your phone off and on again. Next, check out issues on Apple’s support forums.
Here is the link from a previous post on updating to iOS 12.1 and it includes information on iOS 12 update. https://mobilemomtechrescue.com/2018/11/10/alert-issues-with-12-1-update-use-caution/
One more thing, some updates are exclusive to the iPhone X and higher, so you may not see all of the updates mentioned in the articles.
Thanks for stopping by today!
