Quick Tip to Reply to a Text
When you get a notification on your iPhone X, slide it to the left.
iPhone 8 and earlier, pull down the notification from your lock screen and you’ll see the message and be able to reply right away. Note: you’ll need to have your software up to date.
Tap on View and you will be able to see the message and reply without opening up the Messages app. You can also tap on the mic (bottom right) and leave a quick voice message too! It’s a fast and easy way to reply to a text message.
I’m sure I would still reach for the home button, but I’m glad apple ditched it for the bezel less trend
