Old Update Pulled In October, Apple pulled the 5.1 update because it was “bricking” watches. Bricking means your watch (can actually happen to any device) just stops working in the process of updating. It’s something only the Apple Store can resolve for you, which usually means they replace the device. Wow! I was only able to watch the Apple Watch 4 presentation and I fell in love with the watch all over again! The addition of Fall detection and ability to record an EKG was way more than I expected. Plus the watch function is FDA approved! That’s a huge accomplishment for Apple.
