Why Use Apple Pay? I’ll start off by saying using Apple Pay, in my opinion, is an awesome feature on iPhones, Macs, and Apple Watch. I use Apple Pay regularly. It’s convenient and more secure. Once you add your cards, you’ll find them in your “Wallet” app. Many people don’t like to add credit cards to their devices, but in my opinion, this one is the best options to avoid having your credit card number stolen. I’m only writing this post to make you aware of options available to use on your device. Apple Pay can be used in many … Continue reading How to Use Apple Pay
Old Update Pulled In October, Apple pulled the 5.1 update because it was “bricking” watches. Bricking means your watch (can actually happen to any device) just stops working in the process of updating. It’s something only the Apple Store can resolve for you, which usually means they replace the device. Here’s the previous post on the 5.1 update Do Not Update Apple Watch New Update Available The new 5.1.1 update is ready and I updated last week! I searched and didn’t find any issues that were being reported. There were several bug fixes and the Walkie Talkie app has been tweaked … Continue reading New Apple Watch 5.1.1 Update
Apple has pulled the Watch OS 5.1 update. It is “bricking”, which means the watch will not work at all. You may have an update pending, but I would let it sit there and not update. This is just a quick post after seeing this on Twitter this morning. For more information, you can search the internet to see what is being said about the update. Have a great day! The addition of Fall detection and ability to record an EKG was way more than I expected. Plus the watch function is FDA approved! That’s a huge accomplishment for Apple.
