Apple Releases Software Fix for Group FaceTime You probably know already that the recommendation is to WAIT at least 24 hours, more time is better, before updating your phone.  Not sure how many people were using Group FaceTime, but the 14 year old who found the bug was trying to connect with multiple friends playing Fortnite!  Apple’s email today said they will be thanking him and compensating him.  Wonder how much that will be??? Group FaceTime Disabled

Wanted to post and update you about the “bug” found in Apple’s Group FaceTime (GFT) feature. As of yesterday, Apple disabled GFT, so that it can’t be abused intentionally or unintentionally. One-on-one FaceTime (FT) is still operating as designed with no issues. What Happened? Apparently, when you started a GFT conversation, the first two on the call were fine. When the third person, and any additional people, were being added to the GFT call, their phones would connect BEFORE the person accepted the call! Quick Tip Have you used Siri to set up an alarm? It’s quick and easy. There are several ways to activate Siri, based on your phone and settings. Using Siri is fun and easy to do. You can say “Hey Siri, set an alarm for 7pm to check the dryer”.
